Who we are

We’re an Apostolic Pentecostal church.

What does that mean?

We’re Apostolic in the sense that we preach the same message that the apostles of Jesus Christ preached in the book of Acts, first century church without the filter of post-apostolic religious leaders. We aim to disciple believers using Apostolic doctrine and methods in order to see the results enjoyed by the early Apostolic church.

Being Pentecostal refers to the experience of Acts chapter 2. The early church members were filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. This miraculous experience is a clear sign that the Spirit of God has come to inhabit the seeker and it is available and happening today.

Where we come from

ILC Riverside was started as a daughter campus in 2019 by Pastor Preston Brown and his family with the support of the mother church, ILC Rialto, and Rialto’s Bishop Larry L. Booker and Pastor Joel M. Booker.

In late 2018, God woke up Pastor Brown in the middle of the night and gave him a call and burden to plant a church in the heart of Riverside, CA. Out of that burden, and by the grace of God, a church is now being established in Magnolia Center.

Before all of that, we come from the church in the book of Acts started by the disciples of Jesus following His resurrection and ascension. They were strict monotheists (non-trinitarian) who believed in One God (Deuteronomy 6:4) who robed Himself in human flesh to redeem us from our sin (Isaiah 9:6, 2 Corinthians 5:19, 1 Timothy 3:16) and came back in the form of the Spirit to indwell believers (John 14:17-18). We still believe the same thing.

Where we're heading

We’re on a mandate and mission from God to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ (see Acts 2:38) and to train as many disciples as possible before His soon return.

In order to accomplish that, we have determined to be missions-minded. Church planting is in our DNA, so our sights are set already on planting more churches in the Inland Empire and beyond.

Ultimately, we’re on our way to Heaven and would love to see you join us.
